Smile Moving AD root to new server

my first post here

Letīs see now. Our customer is using a hp blade server. This blade server run AD windows 2003

Now the customer wants to install a new hp blade server. The AD must be moved to this new server. What we can do is sync all stuff from old to new AD server (DC). then move root to new server and take old server offline or using AD backups??

Maybe you guys can give some more advice about root movement. Is there any good doc about this??

thanks in advance

Check out the following:

Steps are very similar apart from updating the schema since your migrating from 2003 to 2003 it's already updated.
