A guess may be to
create a new smtp connector that has a higher priority and only accepts mail from this specific user (delivery restrictions tab). You then specify delivery time on the Delivery Options tab.

Your default connector then picks up everyone else?

Andy,

These are the steps I followed. Tahnk you for your reply.

1. Create a new SMTP connector and set address space as *.

a. Then open properties of this new created connector.

b. Switch to Delivery Restrictions tab, configure it as Reject message from
everyone. Then click Add button, and add the user you want to configure
into the restriction list.

c. Switch to Delivery Options tab, under Connection time, you can use this
option to specify times when messages are sent through the connector by
either selecting one of the standard values in the list or clicking
Customize to create your own schedule.

2. Open properties of the original SMTP connector, switch to Delivery
Restrictions tab, click Add button under "Reject messages from", then add
the user you want to configure into the reject list.

3. Follow the steps in the following article to add the
CheckConnectorRestrictions registry key

XCON: Connector Delivery Restrictions May Not Work Correctly
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/277872

After doing this, the user we configured will use the new connector for
mail delivery which has been configured as scheduled delivery. All other
users will still use the original connector for email delivery.
