Hi everybody, we have a laptop here with a DOS password. The guy left without telling us his password!!!


How can I format this laptop?

A DOS password? Huh? Why not just put in the XP/2000/2003 CD and go for it? You said you needed to format, not recover his or her data...

Well then, this has nothing to do with Windows. Look for BIOS hacking tools in Google, or, even better, consult the manual of your MOBO on how to reset it to the default settings.
