Question Dsadd And dsmod failed error

Hi
I try to use dsadd and dsmod queryes to add or change, users or group...
But allways it says object cannot find or something like this.
It seems the syntax is currect, I can't see why it dosent work???!!!
Please help me

Can you post the exact commands you are using (change domain names to protect the innocent)
Also, what server OS and service pack are you on?

a command for example :
Dsadd user "CN=a b,OU=People,DC=ney,DC=pnu,DC=ac,DC=ir"</p> -samid a.b -pwd * -mustchpwd yse -hmdir\\SERVERNAME\USERS\%USERNAME%\...
I also use LDIFDE and CSVDE no rresult

I use windows server 2008 SP1

Is the </p> really in your command?
Without that it works with:
-pwd * prompts (twice) for password
-mustchpwd yes
-hmdir picks up the current username (e.g. administrator)

What is the exact error message?
Try building up the command bit by bit:
dsadd user "CN=.....dc=ir" (should give you a disabled account)
Delete the account then add the -pwd * (should prompt for new password twice)
Keep going (delete account each time) until you find the step where it fails

error message :
Dsadd failed:CN=....dc=ir:directory object not found.
Exactly no user account created by using dsadd.

OK, so check the exact spelling and path of your CN, OUs and DCs (I used ... to save typing everything so I hope you used "CN=a b,OU=People,DC=ney,DC=pnu,DC=ac,DC=ir" as you gave in post #3)
