Default floppy controller faulire

i got this problem
at first i have no floppy drive
after mobo update this faulire came up
put a old floppy drive in it n i still have the message the say floppy controller faulire in the bio screen

The Floppy Controller is part of the Motherboard. It is separate from the Floppy Drive

So you updated the BIOS? Did you get any error messages while you did the update?

Is this your new MoBo or your old one?

Question Re: floppy controller faulire

In addition to Ossian's questions: if you have no floppy in the first place, why did you not disable the floppy in the BIOS?
