Default Devices and Printers window hangs ?

Hi All,

I'm having problem with my WIndows 7, when I try to open "Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers" it seems that it doesn't do anything and then just wait until the time out exceeded and nothing displayed. (See attachment 1)

but all of the printers previously installed and working fine in all of my Windows program (See attachment 2)

FYI: the FXC-450 printer is 32 bit driver while the print server is 64 bit (SCANIA) and the driver installed there are both 32 and 64 bit.

any idea would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Albert

Cool Re: Devices and Printers window hangs ?

At last,

Apparently, there’s a bug with the Bluetooth service in Windows 7. After you install your bluetooth drivers, one or more of the services will be set to Manual startup. This will cause the Devices and Printers window to hang. To fix it, go to the Start menu, write “services.msc” in the search field, and press enter. From there I enabled the "Bluetooth Support Service" and everything is working fine.
