Default Computer stuck veryfying data integrity

Dear all,

I have a computer win 7 professional, x64 2 gb memory, when outlook 2010 start ,a window open with Verifying Data Integrity % and is take very long time about 1 hour,Do you know what can I do about, also the CPU is running very,very slow!
Any Ideas

Normally this means that Outlook was closed suddenly, and the PST or OST file has problems

1) If you are using Exchange and Cached Data (OST) change your profile to non-cached, delete the OST file and re-enable caching

2) If you are using another type of email account and a PST file, consider creating an empty PST and moving content into that, then discarding the old one.

For both, look at the size of your mailbox and check, in particular, that no folder contains more than 5000 items -- sent items is often a culprit. If they do, create subfolders and move content to make the main folder smaller.

As far as your PC goes, consider an upgrade to 4Gb RAM, also check the size of your page file
